Isaac Brock performing solo later this month in Seattle

UPDATE: Not sure what happened exactly, but apparently Isaac was replaced with The Head And The Heart, and this was only posted on the Ticketfly event page the day before the show, with no reason given. We're only learning of this now.

Modest Mouse's official website has posted a solo date for Isaac later this month in Seattle, WA on August the 26th.

The event is being hosted by winemaker Charles Smith and is being described as follows:

In celebration of his new, special release, barrel-aged K Vintners Jet City Riesling, award-winning winemaker Charles Smith is hosting the first-annual Jet City Riesling Revolution on Saturday, August 26 at Charles Smith's Jet City in Seattle. Showing consumers a new, radical side of Riesling and creating the ultimate wine-tasting experience, Charles is bringing together 18 premier wineries primarily from the Pacific Northwest and a few favorites from Germany to showcase the best Riesling including Charles & Charles Riesling, the famed Kung Fu Girl Riesling and K Vintners Jet City Riesling, which is only available for a limited time at the event and in the Jet City tasting room.

Following the tasting, performances by Calexico and a rare solo performance by Isaac Brock, Modest Mouse frontman, making this a truly one-of-a-kind event.

Tickets are on sale now for $45, and are apparently extremely limited.

Isaac Brock's last recorded solo performance was back in 2012, when he participated in benefit show for Joel Burrows.
