New album details in the latest copy of Rolling Stone magazine

A few new facts have been revealed in a small article in the latest copy. The first being that the album title "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" is tentative and may change before the release. The second being the titles of two new tracks "We've Got Everything" and "Steaming Genius". The album is still marked for a December release.

Modest Mouse: We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank

Isaac Brock has revealed in a latest interview with Rolling Stone that their new album will be titled "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" and will be out sometime this fall (Sep-Nov for the non Americans). The article also mainly deals with the fact that the collaboration with Johnny Marr (former member of The Smiths) has resulted in Marr becoming a full blown member. [Discuss]

Modest Mouse to perform in Australia

The band has been confirmed for their first ever performances in Australia. They will be playing the Falls Festival in Lorne and Marion Bay from December 30 to January 1. Tickets are on sale now to subscribers and to the public on August 16.
